An event celebrating a special group of people who care about our community, and show it through volunteerism.
In 1982, Silver Horizons, then the Senior Foundation, began honoring outstanding older adults in the Albuquerque area who had demonstrated lifetimes of commitment to community service. While this honor acknowledges that many advances in our community are made thanks to the efforts and commitment of older adults, today, you don’t have to be a senior to be inducted into Silver Horizons’ Senior Hall of Fame.

The Senior Hall of Fame is comprised of exceptional individuals making a difference in our community—people of any age working to improve the lives of seniors, or seniors currently volunteering to better our community. Our final set of Senior Hall of Fame Awards were given in 2021.
